To My Dear Dishcloth Cotton Readers

To those of you who got the less than desirable result of "Dishcloth Cotton" in the previous post's quiz, this is a re-write for you:

DISHCLOTH COTTON

You are the workhorse of the handknits-without you there would be a lot of messiness to clean up. You make the everyday tasks of life a little bit brighter and more enjoyable just by being there. You only get better with age-softer, more mellow, and steadfast where it matters most. You are of utmost importance in the very heart of the home as well as with young children. You have a natural beauty that is not achieved by synthetic means, but simply by being yourself. You may seem plain to the untrained eye, but are invaluable amongst all the other rough, scratchy and high maintainence choices out there. The rest of us are glad to have you around.

Now, is that better?

ps-The black background on the blog was driving me a bit nutso so I'm trying out the white-what do y'all think? Leave a comment saying which you prefer!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the encouraging words about being a "DISHCLOTH". If you look at my blog, it back in Jan 06 somewhere. My friend was some super duper merino/silk thing.

Good try, Jody. My self esteem is at an all time low...Belinda and I, just today at the shop, were sobbing about what yarn we are...but then the tears subsided and we mutually agreed that at least we weren't acrylic.

Whoops, yeah, forgot, KEEP THE WHITE!

I like the white, too. Just listen to all those dishrags, whoops, I mean dishcloths whining.....

haha-dishrags...but as a MERINO WOOL with such a SOFT heart, I felt sorry for all you "cottons" out there :)-I like the white, too-that black seemed so sinister and it was messing with my eyes. plus, Hey Pat, it IS Spring! Who wants Winter hanging around?!
