It's a GO!!

I got word from Virginia Tech that it is fine to make the Hokie Bird chart for the Healing squares-woohoo! SO everyone who emailed and anyone else interested, I will be getting the chart made and will email it to you as soon as I can-my little girl's (Thing 2) birthday party is this weekend so it may not be until Sunday evening, just FYI. I will also try to email all of you back individually-I just hadn't gotten a chance to do it yet. Thanks for your interest in helping with the blankets!

I've not done intarsia, but if you can stop by the shop on Wednesday and show me, I would be willing to do a square. That might be an easy way to learn because it is only 8x8, right?!?!?

Jody--I'm a new enough knitter that I don't know if I'd be any use to the project. But--if you think there's any way, please let me know. I'll send you my info then. And if not, then just accept my gratitude to you for this project.

THANK YOU from a VT alum (graduate degree, 2004).

I would love to have a copy of the Hokie for a square! I can't wait to see how many ya'll end up with!

I went to Tech for 2 1/2 years, so it's great to give back to a school I still love. Wish I knitted back then, it would have helped a lot with my stress. :)

Hi Jody. I just put a copy of the Hokie Poster on my blog. Please share your chart with me. I have family in Fairlawn, Dublin, and Radford. One cousin is a Hokie Alum. I'll be sure to share the info with my Southern Ohio Guild.
Blessings to you.

I am getting yarn in Hokie colors tomorrow, so would appreciate the intarsia pattern.
Thanks!
