There Are No Words

Nothing can describe the horror and devestation of what happened today in my town, where I live and call home and where we went to school. We knew at least one of the victims, we kept their baby while they sat in the hospital, we felt their pain, we prayed for them and will continue to do so. My heart hurts for all involved-my head hurts from worry and lack of sleep. It always happens "somewhere else"-today that somewhere else was right here. Virginia Tech will never be the same. Blacksburg will never be the same. Lives will never be the same. There truly are no words....

I didn't know you were in Blacksburg. I'm in Roanoke. Yes, it is an absolute horrid thing. And we are finding out even more as the days go by. Very scary. Prayer is all that there is to do. God is greater.

love the Pug...congrats. Blacksburg will never ever be the same. I lost my best friend to cancer 5 years ago, and today I feel the same loss. The loss of our innocence forever.

Jody, saw your comment on mason-dixon...know that everywhere in Annapolis yesterday, I saw Virginia Tech t-shirts and sweatshirts. WE are all there in our thoughts....the world has stopped for everyone....the world shares in your grief...I lost a friend last week and I just imagine her greeting all those wonderful people as they walked through the gates of Heaven!

I'm really not into posting a new blog at the moment. Thanks for your kind comments on mine. By the way, what is the name of your new pug. Come by the shop on Wednesday if you have a chance.

Debbie-I know the feeling-hence no new post. We chose the name Henery-I will try to bring him in if I get a chance on Wednesday-I had planned to this past week, but nothing really went as planned, did it? Hope to see you all at the shop on Wednesday!

Sorry I didn't email you but for some reason, Blogger doesn't show emails all the time for people who post on my blog.

Thanks for your support of Project Hokie Hope. Let me know if you get a chance to post the chart for your intarsia Hokie Bird. I'd love to knit some squares for Hokie Healing with the pattern.
